At the Geelong wedding expo
A Geelong wedding story. I met Melinda and Jonathan at the Geelong Bridal Expo. I think we clicked straight away and I am really happy they chose me to be their wedding photographer. The couple are really sweet and I truly love their love story. They could have been high school sweet hearts!
The love story
Melinda and Jonathan met through a mutual friend at a Year 11 Debutante Ball. Love didn’t immediately blossom between them but they ran into each other again a few years later and reconnected. This time, sparks flew and a few months later they started dating.
Three years into their relationship, Jonathan moved to England for 6 months to play cricket. A long distance relationship can be difficult but this only made their relationship stronger. Melinda met Jonathan over in Europe after his cricket stint and they went travelling together.
Together forever
On Christmas day, 2016 Jonathan proposed. Melinda and Jonathan married on the 5th November 2017 at St Mary’s Cathedral, Geelong.
The bridesmaids all looked pretty in pink and the groomsman scrubbed up pretty decent as well. Nice one gents! The celebrations continued to The Pier Geelong. It was such a good day. We went to some great locations for the bridal wedding photos such as Geelong Botanic Gardens and The Carousel in Geelong.
The couple are blessed with a beautiful son named Noah. He is super adorable, just see for yourself in the wedding photos!
